Arabic: وَ لَقَدۡ اَخَذۡنٰہُمۡ بِالۡعَذَابِ فَمَا اسۡتَکَانُوۡا لِرَبِّہِمۡ وَ مَا یَتَضَرَّعُوۡنَ ﴿۷۶﴾

Translation: And We had gripped them with suffering [as a warning], but they did not yield to their Lord, nor did they humbly supplicate, [and will continue thus]
