Surah 50 • Ayah 36 of 45

وَ کَم اَہلَکنَا قَبلَہُم مِّن قَرنٍ ہُم اَشَدُّ مِنہُم بَطشًا فَنَقَّبُوا فِی البِلَادِ ؕ ہَل مِن مَّحِیصٍ ۝٣٦

And how many a generation before them did We destroy who were greater than them in [striking] power and had explored throughout the lands. Is there any place of escape?

Translation: And how many a generation before them did We destroy who were greater than them in [striking] power and had explored throughout the lands. Is there any place of escape?

Roman Urdu Translation

Aur inn say pehlay bhi hum boht si ummaton ko halak ker chukay hain jo inn say taqat mein bohat ziyadah thi woh shehron mein dhondtay hi reh gaye, kay koi bhagney ka thikana hai?
