Surah 16 • Ayah 118 of 128

وَ عَلَی الَّذِینَ ہَادُوا حَرَّمنَا مَا قَصَصنَا عَلَیکَ مِن قَبلُ وَ مَا ظَلَمنٰہُم وَ لٰکِن کَانُوا اَنفُسَہُم یَظلِمُونَ ۝١١٨

16:118

And to those who are Jews We have prohibited that which We related to you before. And We did not wrong them [thereby], but they were wronging themselves.

Arabic: وَ عَلَی الَّذِیۡنَ ہَادُوۡا حَرَّمۡنَا مَا قَصَصۡنَا عَلَیۡکَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ ۚ وَ مَا ظَلَمۡنٰہُمۡ وَ لٰکِنۡ کَانُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَہُمۡ یَظۡلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۸﴾

Translation: And to those who are Jews We have prohibited that which We related to you before. And We did not wrong them [thereby], but they were wronging themselves.

Roman Urdu Translation

Aur yahudiyon per hum ney jo kuch haram kiya tha ussay hum pehlay hi say aap ko suna chukay hain hum ney unn per zulm nahi kiya bulkay woh khud apni janon per zulm kertay rahey.
