Quran Chapter 78 Verse 40

Surah 78 • Ayah 40 of 40

اِنَّا اَنذَرنٰکُم عَذَابًا قَرِیبًا یَّومَ یَنظُرُ المَرءُ مَا قَدَّمَت یَدٰہُ وَ یَقُولُ الکٰفِرُ یٰلَیتَنِی کُنتُ تُرٰبًا ۝٤٠

78:40

Indeed, We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I wish that I were dust!"

Arabic: اِنَّاۤ اَنۡذَرۡنٰکُمۡ عَذَابًا قَرِیۡبًا۬ ۚ ۖیَّوۡمَ یَنۡظُرُ الۡمَرۡءُ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ یَدٰہُ وَ یَقُوۡلُ الۡکٰفِرُ یٰلَیۡتَنِیۡ کُنۡتُ تُرٰبًا ﴿٪۴۰﴾

Translation: Indeed, We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I wish that I were dust!"

Roman Urdu Translation

Hum nay tumhein unqareeb anay walay azab say dara diya(aur chokanna ker diya) hai. jis din insan apnay haton ki kamai ko dekh ly gaur kafir kahy ga kay kash!mein mitti hojata
