Surah 17 • Ayah 61 of 111

وَ اِذ قُلنَا لِلمَلٰٓئِکَۃِ اسجُدُوا لِاٰدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا اِلَّا اِبلِیسَ ؕ قَالَ ءَاَسجُدُ لِمَن خَلَقتَ طِینًا ۝٦١

17:61

And [mention] when We said to the angles, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except for Iblees. He said, "Should I prostrate to one You created from clay?"

Translation: And [mention] when We said to the angles, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except for Iblees. He said, "Should I prostrate to one You created from clay?"

Roman Urdu Translation

Aur jab hum ney farishton ko hukum diya kay adam ko sajda kero to iblees kay siwa sab ney kiya uss ney kaha kiya mein ussay sajda keroon jissay tu ney mitti say peda kiya hai.
