Surah 22 • Ayah 45 of 78

فَکَاَیِّن مِّن قَریَۃٍ اَہلَکنٰہَا وَ ہِیَ ظَالِمَۃٌ فَہِیَ خَاوِیَۃٌ عَلٰی عُرُوشِہَا وَ بِئرٍ مُّعَطَّلَۃٍ وَّ قَصرٍ مَّشِیدٍ ۝٤٥

22:45

And how many a city did We destroy while it was committing wrong - so it is [now] fallen into ruin - and [how many] an abandoned well and [how many] a lofty palace.

Translation: And how many a city did We destroy while it was committing wrong - so it is [now] fallen into ruin - and [how many] an abandoned well and [how many] a lofty palace.

Roman Urdu Translation

Boht si bastiyan hain jinhen hum ney teh-o-bala kerdiya iss liye kay woh zalim thay pus woh apni chaton kay bal ondhi hui pari hain aur boht say abad koonwen beykaar paray hain aur boht say pakkay aur buland mehal weeran paray hain.
