Surah 2 • Ayah 34 of 286

وَ اِذ قُلنَا لِلمَلٰٓئِکَۃِ اسجُدُوا لِاٰدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا اِلَّا اِبلِیسَ ؕ اَبٰی وَ استَکبَرَ ٭ وَ کَانَ مِنَ الکٰفِرِینَ ۝٣٤

And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.

Translation: And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.

Roman Urdu Translation

Aur jab hum ney farishton say kaha kay aadam ko sajda kero to iblees kay siwa sab ney sajda kiya. Uss ney inkar kiya aur takabbur kiya aur woh kafiron mein hogaya.
